黄财神法会及大手印修持课程
在古晋居士林密宗团的邀请下，来自美国的杜本桑田上师将于本月30日开示至2015年1月5日，主持一系列的黄财神修持教导、黄财神法会、密宗四加行教导及大手印修持，这是在家居士静修密法的三年修行课程，机会非常难得。
杜本桑田上师六岁出家，他有十三位老师，对佛法、法会、佛教艺术、金刚舞、医疗和星相有深入的研究。他在根本上师贡葛大师的指导下，完成三年的六瑜伽闭关，虽是直贡迦如传承的上师，他也从黄教的达赖喇嘛、花教的萨迦天津法王、红教德称法王及直贡澈赞法王得到各和密法口传和教授，是现代一位俱有广大菩提心的难得上师。
在1987年，他被澈赞法王派去美国加州弘法，2001年1月20日在800僧人前受法王授以上师上座，封册为杜本桑田金刚禅修上师，目前在南加州建立起自己的道场，渡化无数西方人士。
桑田上师将在古晋佛教居士林禅修室（文殊图书馆旁）主持一系列的法会。

Drupon Samten Rinpoche was born in the Himalayan Mountains of Ladakh. At the age of six, he entered the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery, Lama Yuru, which was built in the 12th century and is where Naropa did many years of retreat. Drupon Samten studied with 13 accomplished teachers, learning Buddhist philosophy, ceremony, butter sculpture, painting, music, lama dance, healing, and astrology. He received all the Drikung Kagyu oral transmissions and initiations including all the Dharma Protectors, Shitro, YangZab, DzogChen, 108 volumes of the Kangur by the great master Kyobje Toden Rinpoche. Drupon Samten also received the Rinchen Terzod, Kagyu Ngakdzod, Chakrasamva, FiveFold MahaMudra, Vajrayogini, Hevajra commentary, Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of life, The 37 practices of Bodhisattva and others. He also received many teachings from Gelong Rabstan on Dzogchen, transmission of the MahaSiddhi’s, Jewel Ornament of Liberation, Kadel Munsel and other teachings. He also received from KhenChen Rinpoche the Jewel Ornament of Liberation, GongChik and Narajuna’s Letter to Friend.
When Drupon Samten was 22 years old, he went into a 3-year retreat as a student of a great meditation retreat master, Very Venerable Khyunga Rinpoche. Under the retreat master’s guidance, Drupon completed the traditional Three Year Meditation Retreat and the Six Yoga’s of Naropa. He also received the teachings of Chakrasamvara, VajraYogini, Jewel Ornament, The Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of life, GongChik, Kunrig, along with many oral transmissions and empowerments.
He has also received many teachings from H.H. the Dalai Lama, H.H. the Drikung Kyabgon Chunsang, H.H. Sakya Trizin, H.H. DrukChen Rinpoche, Ontul Rinpoche, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, Mahamudra instruction from Venerable Druwang Rinpoche, Trutres Rinpoche and other great masters.
In 1987, His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon sent him to the United States to teach at the Tibetan Meditation Center and he stayed with Khenchen Rinpoche for many years.
On January 20th, 2001, he was enthroned by His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang in India, in front of over 800 monks attending the Snake Year teachings at Jang Chubling Monastery, and received the title Drupon Samten Rinpoche, Vajra Meditation Master. Drupon Samten has been teaching in the United States, Taiwan, Malaysia and Chile since 1987. He has obtained a very good command of the English language. He teaches with clarity, compassion and wisdom, and is open to help everyone that he meets.
H.H. the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, H.E. Nubra Rinpoche and H.E. Togen Rinpoche have all said strongly that Drupon Samten is one of the important teachers in the younger generation. That he is a compassionate and devoted lama and has good experience of meditation and thus they encourage students to study and learn from him. Also, his teacher Khyunga Rinpoche, before he passed away, told him that “You will be going far away to settle and there you will find the people who you have a previous connection with”.
Drupon Samten has recently completed a new monastery in Southern California through many years of physical hardship that he has dedicated to his precious teacher, His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang. Drupon Samten’s current project is building 8 Stupas at DKC, with the primary stupa being the Stupa of Enlightenment.
